Self-Serve Libations
Nothing spells R-E-L-I-E-F like a grab-and-go cocktail, especially when presented in veritable bar cart fashion, which is always in style. Drink stations alleviate or eliminate bar lines and allow for creative couples to highlight personal style by showcasing their favorite cocktails. Get inspired by dreamy destinations, regional fare, and even down-home recipes. Pick your poison and “gussy” it up via a clever garnish, a whimsical glass, high-falutin’ fixins, or just color-coordinate to pack a punch at your reception. Dig through Grandma’s antique buffet or hop on ebay for vintage ladles, tongs, ice buckets, shakers, and barware galore. Set your station with linen hemstitch or masslinn napkins for the finishing touch! Below is a sampling for inspiration:

Lighting is Everything
Or so they say….as do we!
A titch of task lighting, a swath of ambient lighting, and the glory of overhead lighting (via chandeliers, lanterns, pendant lamps, and more) is most definitely one way to step it up on your big day. A vintage wood console flooded with varying heights of glass cylinders and pillar candles does not a wedding make; add a pinspotted spectacular wedding cake, soft amber uplighting on the focal points of your venue, and a bold chandie over your dance floor: suddenly it is all pulled together to make for the ambiance we all seek for entertaining with panache. Your photographer will thank you, too!
Below are a smattering of lovely lighting shots from a few of our weddings.
